I think it would be a good thing if it was only gay marriage in destiny. There are so many other games out there that let you have just normal marriage so it would be nice to just let us marry the same sex. Straight people are already privileged enough and i think it would be good for them to try out same sex marriage to combat there homophobia. I would like to ask Bungie in there next mail sack how they will make sure destiny will stand up for equality and not be another straight white male shooter

Well this was an ignorant post. Assuming you are gay why would you ask them to impose homosexuality on the majority of their fan base. Not a great sales idea. Second the same way you are adverse to (how do I say this without hurting people's feelings and keeping it clean) heterosexual marriages, that's how I feel about gay marriages. Why would you whine and cry out for equality and suggest excluding, and imposing your subjective thinking on others, in the same post?

I like to see diversity in a video game. But the fact of the matter is, most people who play shooters are straight white males. Games have had their fair share of blacks and women as well. And I'm fine with that.

Not necessarily, just because a game does not address an issue, that does not make it fearful of said issue. For example, I don't have any Mexican friends. That does not mean that I am racist towards or afraid of Hispanics, simply that there aren't any which are particularly appealing as friends in my area. The same goes for games. If there are no romantic relationships at all within the context of Destiny, it does not mean that Destiny is now homophobic, simply that there was no relevant reason within the context of the game to explore homosexuality
