I want to decide, but I've got so many questions. My gut wants me to go with male Awoken - Titan. Also leaning toward female Awoken Hunter as that's real Samus'y. Exo Warlock sound awesome too, as well as just straight human. But in the end I want to know the fiction behind each race, and the gameplay differences between each class, before I choose. Are the Exo full robot, or is there some humanity to them? Are they Cyborgs? What is their purpose? Why were they built? Who built them? Are they ancient technology or 'modern' creations in this universe? Are they completely cold and lifeless killing machines, or are they creepily human acting robots? Will we get some uncanny valley feels? Is it safe to assume Awoken are humans that have been affected in some way by the Traveler? What is their character like? Are they wise, noble, and effeminate like LOTOR elves? Or are they more cold, bizarre, and alien like the star child at the end of A Space Odyssey? Are they human? Are they strong? Are they weak? Do they have creepy voices? Are they dead? Are they alive? Will what race you are tie into the fiction in some way? For instance will the Awoken be affected by what happens to the Traveler? Will the Exo be a liability to the survival of the rest of humanity in the way that sky-net or hal 9000 were a liability? And the poor human's don't seem to really have any where to go fictionally! So maybe they will end up being the most interesting... And what of the classes... The Titans are described as noble warriors, like knights or samurai. This appeals to me. They apparently built and defended the wall around the city, which is cool, but it brings up the question; if they are an old and respected order, how do you join it? The Warlocks are cool, but since it doesn't seem like we can go inside the Traveler how do they study it's magicks? Also aren't we a rational species? What happened to the scientific approach? Or are the Traveler's magicks just that far beyond human understanding? And the Hunters are described as once being outlaws. How can this be? Are they like a gang? Are they like robin hood's merry men but without a leader? I thought being an outlaw was just something you did, not like a group you join? So many questions. And then there's the potential gameplay differences. The warlock has been described as using a shotgun, and has been seen with an assault rifle, and pistols in concept art and renders. Are these the only weapons a warlock may use? Likewise is a Hunter limited to assault rifles, pistols, and snipers, as we have seen? Are Titan's limited to assault rifles, rockets, and heavy machine guns, in the same vein? Is it june 10th yet? So many questions.
