So we have all the clans in Destiny but what about the regular people, what do they have? Well the best answer would be a emperor/king/mayor or a government or both. 1. If you go with the first one the clans could fight over favouritism from the monarch/mayor gaining advantages. 2. If you have a government system clans could fight for seats in the parliament allowing them to have a bigger say in decisions of the people. 3. Both, that would be the best, maybe, allowing for both terms of influence, if so being on better terms with the government could mean affection from the people or better terms with the king could lead to special gifts and statuses from the king. The other result of this would be two or one (depending on which option is implemented) great looking buildings and more concept art. This post will have a follow up discussing the ships of these two ways (Monarchy/Democracy) and what they would do. So, which way would you like it, more medieval with a king which would obviously relate to the fantasy idea or a more realistic approach helping the game relate to the real world.
