Edited by Kafuu Chino: 5/21/2013 9:48:13 PMA Halo TV series... directed by Steven Spielberg... YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!! (Although there is still the possibility that it could crash and burn, but otherwise YEEEAAAHH!!!)
-
Did they say anything about being able to stream gameplay directly from your box like with the PS4? Seemed like a big selling point to me.

Edited by Dovahkiin: 5/21/2013 7:13:03 PMCan someone post a link to the recorded livestream, I missed the stream.

IR Camera built into system. Forgot that.

Didn't really surprise me on the lack of games shown during the reveal. E3 is only 20 days away after all, yet I do feel they overplayed the "All in One" card. The name, well, I still don't know what to think...lol. O.o A part of me hopes it's just a troll and well played pun towards Sony. Then again, the other part of me doesn't mind it all that much..it's just gonna get hella confusing for some. I don't even know what else to add, I have such a bitter-sweet taste in my mouth right now. I'll definitely be waiting for E3 to see if they keep their focus on media/apps or if they bring out the big guns and steal the current thunder from the PS4.
-
lol at all the people here. Looks good to me.
-
I'm glad there's some sensible people that can understand that this is an entertainment system and not just a game console. It's funny because these losers need to use unsubstantiated information with no confirmation to attack the console. Granted there are some problems like one download disks and no backwards compatibility. However, you people are honestly whining about the Kinect? Why? Because you want to pick up a remote or press a button? Then there's the losers that think that these new games are going to be bad despite no evidence whatsoever. (Unless its based off disdain for Halo then factually you aren't a dumbass but in my opinion you are) I suppose it isn't too crazy. Always stupid people out there.
-
Seems really cool, I like how you don't need a controller or multiple sources to change media inputs on the tv. Kinect 2.0 sounds very impressive although I can't imagine I'll be convinced into playing games with it. Its a shame there weren't more game related reveals or discussion but I guess E3 will be the best place for that sort of thing. Also, although the buttons on the new controller look better, I'm not sure if the overall shape looks as ergonomically sound as the current one...Overall a pretty good reveal though, I can see myself eventually picking one up, impressed me more than the PS4 reveal anyway.
-
For me, this was more exciting.
-
I might just retire from current video games actually. This whole industry has jumped the shark.
-
>blocks used games (rumour) >forced kinect >almost guaranteed that most of the new IPs are kinect babby shit >YOU NEED TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET ONCE EVERY 24 HOURS >most of the reveals were EA nonsense and CoD SHOT THROUGH THE HEART AND YOU'RE TO BLAME
THE XBOX ONE HAS NO GAMES
-blam!-ing dropped from orbit.

Seems like there are as many microsoft haters here as there are call of duty haters, which is ironic considering Bungie's past. I think the new xbox looks pretty sweet. The technology seems extraordinarily powerful and they want to change the whole entertainment world, not just gaming. Xbox one isn't just for gamers anymore and it enhances every other part of entertainment. Hopefully, the price is reasonable, because there with it there would be no need for a 4 grand smart tv, anymore. As far as the gaming aspect of things, I think we will see the real power of the new xbox at E3. It'll be super interesting to see what is revealed.

The hardware list looks nice and all, but for some reason I truly doubt next gen games will even use half of that power

Surprisingly took a while to find a full video of the reveal online, for anyone who missed it there's a link. I imagine a youtube video will be up soon though.
-
That was a pretty good show. I laughed a lot. Wait? It was no comedy? Not a joke?
-
So excited for the Halo series and SERVER LISTS! THANK THE FREAKING UNIVERSE! Now I won't feel ripped off by Live or have lag! FINALLY! THANK YOU for finally having technology you should have had ten years ago!
-
Well, it sounds like shit. And they didn't even reveal much at all.. It was fun as hell Chief, but it looks like I won't stick around to see you again.
-
24: Lag free experience
I didn't see the reveal, so does this mean dedicated servers?
-
I hate the fact that the kinect has to be included, that means a higher price for something I don't want to use.
