Is it OK for a 15 year old to date an 18 year old?

What terrible parents.
Edit: The pair were dating since the beginning of the school year at which time the girl who was arrested was 17. All parents were aware they were dating. The parents of the other girl pressed charges once she turned 18.

Its hard to say to be honest. Did the girl whose 15 really love the other girl whose 18? Or did the 18 yr old seduce the 15 yr old and she just went with it? Thats a question that gets brought up and is why the age difference matters. If the girl was 17 instead of 15 you tend to believe she can decide for herself. Its just a stereotype based on age and maturity. Tough break but thats the law.
