The first few times, "Sign In" opens up random ads (EDIT: FIXED)
EDIT: Sorry, something I installed recently had some adware on it, but it's deleted now.

There are no ads on bungie.net. If you are experience ad pops, you likely have some kind of adware infecting your client. The sign in dialog does popup in a new window (a requirement for how we're talking to external authentication services). However, it isn't an ad - they're just login UI.
