Huge cargo plane crash in Afghanistan caught on video

Article
Horrifying video has emerged purportedly showing the crash of a U.S. cargo plane in Afghanistan on Monday. Scroll down for video - some readers may find this content disturbing. The video, which appears to have been shot by a vehicle's dashboard camera, shows the National Airlines Boeing 747 taking off from the Bagram Airfield military base. According to NYC Aviation.com the aircraft’s nose pitches up heavily, the plane appears to stall and then it falls to the ground. The crash killed all seven people on board. All were Americans.
One theory I've seen is that the cargo in the plane wasn't secure, so it slid towards the back of the plane when it took off. That explains how the crash looked, you see that the tail of the plane falls, and the plane seems to climb straight up before coming down.

 • It clearly lost power, stalled and then crashed. I would be very surprised if the crash had anything to do with loose cargo, I suspect it was simply catastrophic failure of the engines or something to do with the plane itself.
