I could see something like this... Imagine it this way, bungie sets aside a section of the city and calls it Clan Street or some such thing, and then lets the top 50-100 clans occupy buildings within that street. Then those clans are able to have a limited work relationship with bungie and come up with their own clan items (capes with clan signs and the like), get clan specific banners hanging from their buildings, heck, why not give them the ability to stockpile money as a clan account which the clan leader can use to purchase upgrades for their clan building... like additional floors, decorations like character statues of their most prominent members decorating some enclaves on the outside of the building! The first floor would be open to all players as a recruiting area, and the upper floors would be a clan member only area, perhaps with clan member docking stations for their ships eh? Clan lounges/hubs/ trading posts.... This type of thing would have some Awesome potential, and add a lot to Destiny's persistent evolving world... Only hitch would be working on ways to decide who the top clans are and how new clans entering the top 50 would work... just evict a clan that didn't make it and take their building? lol
