With the like button, I lurk more

Back with Bungie.old I used to post in threads semi-frequently, even if it was to just quote pyramid another poster to agree with them. Now if I check a thread that interests me I look through previous posts and if they agree with what I was going to post I'll just like their post instead of creating a post of my own. Has anyone else become a "liker" more than a regular poster?

  • I don't see the point in liking posts honestly, I mean what must the recipient of a 'like' do; post again in his own thread telling everyone that he's glad they liked him and embarrassing himself in the process for the admiration of his peers? Most wouldn't and that's more like the Baftas than behaviour appropriate to an instant forum so it seems to me that this is just a sure fire way to see every thread die, covered in pretention, without response.
