With the like button, I lurk more

Back with Bungie.old I used to post in threads semi-frequently, even if it was to just quote pyramid another poster to agree with them. Now if I check a thread that interests me I look through previous posts and if they agree with what I was going to post I'll just like their post instead of creating a post of my own. Has anyone else become a "liker" more than a regular poster?

  • I'm pretty stingy with my likes. For me, they are a combination of saving a topic/post and a way of letting those who follow me of a topic/post that I found to be "something you guys may want to look at". Sort of an "internal share", but really low pressure. I shouldn't be as stingy with them, but the fact is that if I see something that strikes my interest? I am more likely to reply than just like. Maybe because I like seeing my own words on the screen (the online equivalent of loving the sound of your own voice).
