"No law is as powerful as cold steel." - Riddick

Would you be able to convince them that you need the material for a camping trip with friends or something similar?
-
Stop being so edgy.
-
You are too young sorry.
-
What is cold steel?
-

Depends on what you're getting.
-
You don't.

Edited by Arky: 3/24/2013 12:12:30 AMIf you have to convince your parents to let you have a weapon, you should probably not have one.
-
And why would you need a warhammer or axe, exactly?
-
>Cold Steel I can see why they wouldn't want you to have one.
-
Don't be one of those weird kids who has a knife collection Get something better like a 20mm or a 88 flak
-
Why would you want to possess a knife? Show & tell at school tomorrow?
-
How old are you?
-
If you have to "convince someone to allow you", then it is not "perfectly legal" or at least not "perfectly acceptable". How about you wait until it is something that is completely up to you and if you choose to purchase, then purchase it.

A knife is very far down on my list of self defense items. I'd rather have a shovel than a knife to be honest. I'm not saying I dislike knives, as I have quite a few, but I look at them purely as a convenient tool.
-
You don't. Your parents made a good call. 1) Knives are horrible, dangerous self defense weapons. Your chances of being killed or seriously injured while using a knive in self defense are exponentially higher. 2) If you have to say "How do I convince my parents" You are not old enough, or mature enough to be carrying a deadly weapon. Simple as that. Children do not understand the ramifications and potential repercussions of using deadly force. Your best defense is your legs, and your brain. You use your brain to identify a potentially volatile situation or environment. And you use your legs to take yourself away from the situation.

Why do you want a weapon from Cold Steel? What use would you have for one?
