Someone doesn't like the word "midget" and the pickle company decided to be the bigger man about it.
It's a small story I know. But if there is/was a word that you found offensive and saw it on a grocer's shelf.... Would YOU "do something about it"?

I, for one, will never understand how the term "dwarf" came to be the accepted PC term (or at least one of them) while "midget" is considered offensive.

3 RepliesI'm never sure what word "those people" like to be referred to. Little people? Midgets? Dwarfs? "Little guy"? Though, the use of any of those as the name of a product would be unsettling for those people; I totally understand where they're coming from.
