The Devil Does as He Pleases (Activision Scares Me)
Had a horrible thought not a minute ago.
In the past, Bungie has presented Beta Keys to people who have bought specific games: Crackdown for Halo 3 and Halo:ODST for Reach. Given their deal with Activision, what if the same occurs and we are forced to buy CoD:MW4 for entrance into a Fall Destiny Beta?
Alleviate my concerns. TELL ME IT'S ALL LIES.

Bungie stated that they own the IP and do as they please. Hopefully they won't go the "buy and Activision game first" route

I personally think they would start the beta earlier than that in order to have plenty of time to get feedback, but it isn't an impossible idea. Actually, now that I think of it, they will probably have the beta after the next gen console releases if they are having one and indeed are not releasing during this holiday season. That is the only way they could get responses for its performance on all platforms.
