I just got banned on The War Z Steam forums.
This is the first time I have ever been banned on any Steam forum. The reason they gave was that I was impersonating a company (my name on Steam is EA Corporate Management). I made a troll thread saying that The War Z is the best game ever lol. Is it the developers that are moderating the forums or is it a moderator from outside the company moderating the forums? Because I would be pretty pissed if I got banned by the scum developers. Also they said they would permaban me if I still have that name after my 1 month ban has ended, does it just apply to The War Z forums or all of the Steam forums? The first time (the 1 month ban) is just for The War Z. I do believe I have made several threads in different forums since my I last changed my name and there were no problems.
The ban message was "You have been banned from all The War Z discussions until March 30, 2013 @ 2:40 a.m. You were banned by Zefar. Reason: You're not allowed to impersonate other companies. Banned for 1 month. If you still have EA Corporate Management name you'll be permanently banned."
Should I be worried? Should I change my name?

Should I change my name?[/quote]this is like those threads where people have gotten warnings from their ISP about pirating, wanting to know if they should stop or carry on. if they say you're going to get x punishment for continuing to do y, then of course you should stop doing y (unless you want the punishment). is this not obvious to people?
