Halo Reach reveal - E3 2009 (released fall 2010) ODST reveal -September 2008 (released fall 2009) Halo 2 reveal - September 2002 (released Fall 2004) Destiny has probably been one of Bungie's longest developed games (someone from the studios told a reporter it has been in the works for almost 6 years now). They told us about 2 years ago they were working on a new game, they just announced their game officially yesterday. I really think the game should come out this year given the amount of time and resources they have spent on it. This game is also odd because they announced it themselves, at the beginning of the year, not in the summer or at E3. We have been waiting 2 years , I would hope the wait is not much longer. And how you can already pre-order the game plus all the advertising hints to the game being available very soon, not a year away.
