I think there should always be a choice. I don't want to be the one that starts saying "Dat Ankle". There should be a little of both for people to choose how their character looks.

Yes, definitely. That's something that Guild Wars 2 has done, and it's something that works incredibly well...though granted it's mostly the lighter armor (read: just cloths) that gets skimpy looking...and lighter armor is only used on the mage type classes anyway. But yeah, going both routes and having some of both is the best way to try and please everybody, some will still complain (naturally), but the majority of people will be happy....Bungie hasn't done skimpy or ridiculous armor though in the first place, so I think this whole thread is moot >_>
