Edited by Foton: 2/13/2013 4:20:30 PMAlpha Lupi is the brightest star in the constellation of Lupus. Alpha is used to note the brightest star of any constellation in general. At least brightest viewed from Earth. It's a southern hemisphere constellation as well.
