Favorite Video Game Intros
Favorite: Mass Effect (Make me want to play the entire game all over again just thinking about it)
Runners Up:
Halo 2 (Holy crap, I actually praised the game)
Halo 4 (Thematically brilliant)
Crysis 2 (Bada$$)
Runner Runners Up:
Dino Crisis 1/2 (Nostalgia)
Mass Effect 2 (Okay, from a story standpoint it's questionable, but which one of you weren't awed when the Normandy got blow in half within the first 5 minutes of the game?)
Worst:
Mass Effect 3 (Too many reasons to list)

Definitely Crysis 2. It felt the same way the game felt: like being [i]in[/i] a big-budget sci-fi action movie. Beautifully-realistic graphics and perfect music. As a runner-up, I'd pick Red Faction: Guerrilla. Its opening cutscene did a great job at laying down some basic backstory, without being too detailed, and it also served as an introduction to the game's atmosphere.
