What's your opinion on global warming and humans' impact on Earth's climate. 2012 was the hottest year ever in the U.S. and was the 9th hottest year globally.
So what do you think about humans and global warming, what should we be doing?

I take the concept of climate change as yet another reason to be more conscious and conscientious about my daily and major choices in life. I do my best to try to balance (what I consider to be appropriate) decisions to reduce my consumption/impact and how much those choices cause to my surroundings that I share with others and leave for our descendants. I can't control the weather, and I don't know if my own personal actions can have any effect on climate (I am VERY aware of the differences between climate and weather, not so many people are). But if I can make a conscious effort that could improve either? I don't see a downside to making such an effort. I've only got a few more decades left on this planet, I don't have any children, but I don't have a problem with the idea of trying not to leave "too much" of a mess for the folks who follow me. They are gonna blame, hate and judge the previous generations based on their own values and point of view, just like we do today. If they decide that I was frivolous, decadent, stupid, wastefull, ignorant, or malicious... well, we think that of our predecessors, why would we be exempt from the same?
