MARATHON PVP ARENA MODE
Marathon. Your gunplay is way too good to be going to waste on extraction only; camping bushes & waiting to ambush one exfil team. Make a pvp only arena mode w/ leaderboards where we can slay out (tdm, control, etc). That would be sick. I’d be online all day
Extraction mode to build your vault with loot, then take it into pvp arena mode and slay out with it… Keep all the different runner shells and abilities and everything. That would be sick!

4 RepliesI thought the same thing, but… Making new arena maps is going to divert attention away from the core of the game, so I’m not sure they’d want to do that. (And Destiny is great evidence of what happens when there are too many activities to maintain and build). I also wondered if they could use sections of existing maps for arenas. Would that work? I assume they haven’t been built with that in mind and won’t have the “flow” that purpose built arenas are designed around. Would have been nice to have Marathon as the PvP game and Destiny as the PvE game, but Bungie went for something a bit different.
