So Bungie, can Vesper's Host get even a small nerf? Disregarding the huge health pools, the amount of instant death mechanics needs to be toned down or at least made less frequent. These abnormal amounts of tripmines all over the place and the lightning strikes that create a DoT field larger than a WoR through the 2nd half of the dungeon are just dumb. There is no reason this dungeon needs to be an extreme outlier in "difficulty". It's just an unfair amount of stuff that can instantly kill the player.

Been like this for a while, but I digress, bungie is not nerfing any dungeon at this point. They can't even get the update out on time.

Practice the final boss

8 RepliesI’d recommend playing on warlock. For the second encounter it’s a long haul and you gotta focus. Final boss just focus up and jump around. You got this

I mean the trip mines are kinda on you and become a non issue when you learn where they are, how to avoid them and not to follow the random teamate who just runs straight through them all not caring if he gets anyone else killed. The lightening can be annoying depending on how you fight the boss, but on top of the many cheese spots, certain strategies make it very predictable. After trying a lament loadout when it came out, I found it made the boss one of my favorites. The Lightening is no longer random and over all the fight is way more engaging. With swords being pretty op right now I would definitely say to try some swords on the boss and just get the rhythm for when you have to jump away from the lightening strikes the platforms. Its pretty consistently just before he teleports.
