There are a tonne of players on xim/cronus - pulse rifles and scouts seem to be near zero ttk. Guns that are op like martlet and other new weapons are unavailable unless you pay. Martlet also happens to be op. Desync issues are way worse than before You have not tuned long range guns. Snipers and lfr seems moderately useless. If you have maps that favor them or can make them oppressive, there needs to be a counter. To me snipers are the answer but you cant battle at range with flinch. Armor stat changes: so mobility is gone. Makes some sense. Its hard to know whether to invest in flinch resist or reload etc. there is no way to definitively know if these things are useful or not Armor masterwork change: i personally dont like adding 15 to stats I dont care about You cant really play comp without decent super stat so with the class ability that is around 20 levels gone right away out of a total of 47 realistically. Although this tradeoff has always been there adding stats to the class item and boosting “good” rolls is necessary not generous. The amount of loot coming from playing crucible is good At this point, does it make sense to allow non paying players into trials? I would like the loot but since the game mode can be a hot mess there is risk that paying for it is a disappointment. Thoughts on content and what is “valuable”. I havent purchased dlc for two expansions now. To me you paywalled some of the wrong things. New toys should never be paywalled bc they are not content. These are the free artwork so to speak, the decorations of the world. The content itself- story, raids, dungeons, ok I can get my head around it. Guns and abilities should not be. I have no idea what seasonal currencies even mean. I am getting it as a ftp but no idea what I can use it for. Archives: spending spoils for old guns is silly. You should have never done this. New content -> new stuff. I looked at the crafting date on my sniper, it was nearly 4 y ago. And you want me to use spoils for acrius? On the pay side: i did the first bit of the story. It was not enough to make me to want to finish it. Making me wonder if really the story should be ftp and raids and dungeons are the only thing that can get most players to pay. But this would be for the next game since I dont think you will be pumping out anything more than a final update.Hopefully marathon works out for you.
