... but all these great items in the Eververse being sold for cash should've been an IN GAME REWARDS from a secret triumph or quest. If this was true this would be one of the best games ever created, but NOOOOO. No worries I'll keep my moola for important items, thanks

I've never spent a penny on eververse and have most everything I want from there. Just be patient and grind bright dust homie. Things might not be for sale with bright dust right away but usually are eventually. Check in on Tuesdays for the reset.

4 RepliesSo a few skins make a trashcan in one of the greatest games ever. Brain rot thinking
-
I'd be satisfied if what's available for Bright Dust was increased. Oh, and the removal of the weekly BD cap.
-
2 RepliesI dont buy items from eververse. I put that cash towards games I want.

If this was true this would be one of the best games ever created
You're smoking fent if you think this is true...
-
2 RepliesI would definitely be farming more if the rewards were even half as decent looking as the entire ever verse store
-
Sorry this isn’t the same bungle as before. All the cool gear with be sold for money and the mid to trash reskinned gear from 2018 will be put in the portal.
-
Really doesn't help that tier 5 dungeon rewards are red just like anything else in the portal. Then raid and dungeons emblems are basic shapes and colors. When the purchase emblems are actually well designed. They go out of their way to make anything earnable look bad. Even new exotics look bad by default.

I’ve got no issue with destiny having an in game store with some armour sets/ weapon ornaments but they’ve leaned waaaay too hard into it, to the point it’s offensive. Anyone who disagrees is part of the problem and only has enough skill to complete lost sectors.
-
16 RepliesI don't understand how people are defending Bungie on this. The Eververse was introduced to fund exotic missions and dungeons. Fast forward to now, we are PAYING for Dungeons, and Exotic missions are now part of the PAID seasons. We were told a cash shop was required to introduce extra content, then they put a price tag on that content. How can you defend that?
-
yeah wish the taken armor was from dreadnaught or prestige last wish/kings fall.
-
What really annoys me about all of this isn’t the amount of effort they put into the Eververse stuff compared to the rest of the games loot. It’s not even that you can’t just buy something from Eververse. You have to first buy silver to buy something and the amounts of silver you have to buy is always more than what you are buying so you always have some silver left over which I personally find underhand. It’s not even the price of the stuff in Eververse which is similar to free to play games yet most of us pay full price to play Destiny. It’s the fact that the Eververs loot pool is bloated with stuff that I’ve never seen in Eververse so the actual chance of getting something good from her are slim to none!
-
I’d stick with my bd spending anyway.
-
It's so disappointing that all of the cross overs are only armor pieces in the shop and not at the very least, limited time quests that reward the armor
-
I don’t mind somethings are in the store but I do agree it would make more incentive to play the game, and to earn them would be more of a satisfying. I know it’s a small thing but why can’t you buy finishers for bright dust?
-
3 Replies
No worries I'll keep my moola for important items, thanks
Would you be willing to pay 2-3 times as much for expansions or a monthly subscription fee if they made the eververse items quest/triumph rewards?
-
4 RepliesEdited by FingersXed: 1/21/2026 7:13:37 PMYeah, just give me the Din Djarin set distributed across all dungeon encounters, with a drop rate of 1% each! Your kind is all like, "Now that I've seen it in store for real money, it has to be for free! I spent money to play this game!"
-
52 RepliesEdited by Asa: 1/22/2026 3:26:29 AMHow exactly do you expect Bungie to pay the bills and employees? Edit: The meltdown in the responses is amusing.

Edited by ⓇⒺⒹ•ⓈⒽⒾⒻⓉ: 1/22/2026 10:26:03 AMWelcome to an online multiplayer 🙃🙃🙃🙃 You basically describe every other modern video game when it comes down to cosmetics

2 RepliesEdited by Deus: 1/22/2026 3:01:18 AMNah. Every game needs a item store. There’s enough unique loot that comes from challenging activities. The biggest issue is innovation for how the game is played and experienced. Just look at what they do in Marathon and you’ll realize how much they’ve been holding back

3 RepliesAll hobbies are disposable income. What people decide to spend their money on is their business. And since you're wondering I rarely spend money on silver in this game. I usually wait for it to be bright dust.
-
You a bit late to the table ….been around for years and it makes a lot of money for Bungie . People enabled companies to charge for in game items .
-
Edited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 1/22/2026 12:17:11 AMI have every cosmetic I want, and with very few exceptions(like an occasional silver Exclusive) I haven't paid a real dime for them If you play the game regularly, you will have enough bright dust to buy cosmetics, if you play 5 minutes a week/month/year, your going to have to pay 99% of cosmetics are sold for dust, even holiday cosmetics and armor , good luck with that in other games, most don't even have earnable currency
-
They should be grateful people are still spending some time on their game but yeah, they only care about money so let's stop giving them your time
-
1 ReplyWell it clearly works though with the amount of people I’ve seen with the new set already 😂😂
-
11 RepliesSoooo, do you expect game companies to make the misery amount they get for selling the game and not 1 penny above that? Are you some jobless child who thinks the world runs on dreams and good intentions? They need to have stuff to constantly sell so the game may be maintained active and with new content, how do you not get that? You freeloading expectation won't keep ANY game alive, so less crying about the very few things that sre paid to aquire and more apretiation for the "paying" players that help keeping the lights on at Bungie, because that's clearly not you.
