Imperium Behemoths in Invasions

From my decent experience with Invading in the Lawless Frontier, I can say I'm sick of walking into the same thing (all for a cosmetic) just to end up sitting at the back of my invader spawn wasting half of my time because I'm waiting for the whole team of 3's Behemoths to die down, however most of the time it's simply throw a recon shank down and then get rushed anyway. Sure, I could just spawn one myself but again, 2 or 3 on 1 is still not going to work out. On top of that, we get spawned in with no heavy ammo or super to fight against them? It seems very unfair and puts the wagering system to absolutely no use because 9/10 games are just as I described. Personally, I think Behemoths should be disabled in Contested Territory, alongside spawning invaders with heavy, so both sides have a fair chance against one another.

  • Invasions just shouldn’t be a thing at all in my view. Higher difficulty tiers are annoying enough as they are with how tanks the enemies get later on without Bungie trying to shove their extraction-shooter slop into the mix too. Marathon can crash and burn for all I care.

  • If behemoths should be disabled then so should all 3 variants of the pike, the shield, divinity, etc. There's a BUNCH of counters to the behemoth that are arguably even stronger. Like the stasis interceptor is capable of two shots, tracks targets, slows and freezes on hit, AND it gets an extra like 500% damage bonus against vehicles allowing for it to three shot a fully upgraded behemoth. And tbh considering bungie tried to make the invasions more casual friendly I doubt they wanna make it worse for the people being invaded. There's a reason the invader starts with 0 ammo and 0 super. Because bungie wanted pvp but knew they couldn't go full in on it like with gambit.

  • Although I like the concept of The Lawless Frontier, the easy access to Renegades Abilities spoils the PvP side of it for me. Combined Arms in D1 tightly controls access to vehicles for a reason - you end up with more options for how to play successfully and battles have more variation. TLF invasions mostly rely on ability spam and the battles feel pretty shallow. Nice idea, poor execution, IMO.
