Abilities Tuning Article very Disappointing from Titan POV

After reading it...seems like Titans are just an afterthought. I get that Tcrash and Storm's Keep are strong and that Titans do have decent build variety. But that doesn't cover the fact that there are some legitimate issues with the class; particularly with PvP (Titans consistently bring up the rear in Trials class %). EDIT based on some of the replies, quite obvious people are missing the fact that a decent portion of this post refers to PvP where there is so much opportunity to help things like Strand and Solar that are routinely at the bottom of the PvP Trials pick rate and effectiveness and Bungie doesn't seem interested in looking at that. Going through the changes: SOLAR - Hammer Throw (Melee) Impact damage now increases with range. Alright cool. Indirect Buff to Melas Panoplia. Could we get some info on how much this increases damage though? The main issue with Solar Titan right now is it needs a 4th Aspect. An Aspect that hopefully helps its PvP performance (it's consistently under 2% usage in Trials). Subclass is fine in PvE though. VOID - Sentinel Shield (Super) Standing behind the shield now periodically reloads all weapons every 2.5 seconds. Now grants Void Overshield to allies behind the shield. Damage bonus while behind shield reduced from 40% to 25%. Blocking attacks now extends Super lifetime. Blocking attacks and protecting allies now charges Shield Throw damage. I was hyped for this change until I saw the damage bonus nerf....why? Banner Shield already requires losing 1 player for DPS. Maybe the buffs will end up offsetting this but I don't see how players will ever adopt this over Well of Radiance for DPS strats. Again though, can we get some numbers for the Shield Throw damage? Void Titan is overall fine otherwise imo. Bungie said Bubble will be getting a buff at some point so looking forward to that. I would have liked to see the PvP damage increase vs Void Barricade be removed but whatevs. EDIT Bungie confirmed in livestream that the shield toss will hit like a tcrash...so that's pretty cool. Might actually be a debate between running Sheild vs Well ARC -Fists of Havoc (Super) Light attacks now increase the next heavy attack’s damage. Again...lol... can we get some numbers? Unless the damage boost is insane, I don't really see this being used. What would have actually helped is moving Fists of Havoc to a faster cooldown tier. STASIS - Howl of the Storm (Aspect) When used during Super, increased Super energy cost from 5% to 15%. Idk how the Strand Hunter super gets a Damage Resistance buff but Glacial Quake isn't?? Glacial Quake might actually be the worst pvp super in the game. I'm baffled how it hasn't caught some sort of DR or cooldown buff. It's sorely needed. Though straight up brand new Stasis supers for all classes is sorely needed. Behemoth is kinda at a point where it just needs a new super that isn't melee. STRAND - Banner of War (Aspect) Melee damage bonus against players now scales with stacks instead of always being at full strength. Note: Unarmed melee can now one-shot players at two stacks with 200 melee stat or at three stacks with base stats. ....this class pulled a 1.3% pick rate in Trials last weekend....and the only thing you do is nerf it? LOL I feel like y'all could have at least found something to buff on it. Strand Titan overall though is solid in PvE. And in PvP, I've only ever gotten it to work with pairing Drengr's Lash with Arbor Warden...which is getting buffed so maybe I'll have to try that again. Overall, the only exciting change is the range Throwing Hammer damage. Very disappointed going into an Expansion and the class isn't getting any more interesting. Not sure what's coming with Shadow and Order but here's my priority list for Titans: 1. 4th Solar Aspect that leans PvP focused 1. (this is tied) New Stasis Super. A super that's Ranged DPS or Support. If Glacial Quake never gets buffed, then this new super should try to be decent in PvP 2. Bubble BUFF. Give teams a reason bring the OG support super into Contest Raids/Dungeons 3. Glacial Quake PvP BUFF. 5 years ago this Super was awesome in PvP. Now it's really easy to hit and really squishy. It needs its DR back. A cooldown buff would be nice too. 4. New Passive(s) for Titan. Existing Passives for Titan are boring and pale in comparison to new passives that other classes recently got. Would like to see Flinch Resist, DR, AoE DR, and/or Shield Capacity to be looked as options for Passives. 5. An effort to buff Strand Titan performance in PvP Bit of a long post. Anyone made it to the end, thanks for reading.
