Fishing
Can we have fishing again? I liked when we had a reason to explore the planet and being boots on ground to capture random flavor fish that splash out the water. And can we make it permanent? Little things like this can go a long way my friend. Thanks.

5 RepliesI enjoyed the fishing minigame, I like fishing in video games; it's nice to have a chill, laid back activity to do when not blasting Vex. I don't know how loot would work now that Helm is gone, but I'm not sure that's even the most important part. Agreed, I miss fishing, big MMO vibes. Imagine if you could accidentally fish up a world boss or something!

Less pressure cooker and more places to chill please. Fishing mechanics were not the best but they were simple. It made for a relaxing evening. If Bungie plans to cut and paste old code, please fix the timeout mechanism for lack of movement…

I enjoyed relaxing by the fishing holes. Nice break from shooting (except the occasional public event that interrupted fishing lol), and it gave good loot.

I finished with 21,110 fish caught before The Final Shape released. So many great weapon rolls, armor exotics, and materials for just clearing out the tackle box every few days and relaxing in game while watching videos.

3 RepliesIt needs to be its own location with a giant lake. Where we could fish from our sparrow. and like 25-50 people could join. Even if there weren't any rewards, this would be a far better use of space than Nessus.

2 RepliesI enjoyed the fishing too. BUT beware what you ask for, they'll probably add it into the portal and as you increase rank the more dangerous the fish will become till they poison us with a new strand+stasis+slowed+-+-+ combo and then they devour us whole and leave us with having to wipe only to find we have a half hour penalty and while the poison slowly wears off and when it does we find we are now missing our gun hand(s). And before that the only reward we get is a coupon to come visit the Eververse store to buy something with 1% silver discount (which the streamers will flock to using the silver given to them by Bungo and they try to sell us on how wonderful this must have new item is. Yet when we succumb we put it on and we'll find its bugged and now we have a one hour penalty and still missing our hands!) And all this for a few fun, calm moments fishing.
