Ngl for the past week I have been extremely confused about how the reward lock works, cause the way it’s described sounds like it locks the competitive rewards entirely before the event ends, making it so that you can increase it further… yet it also sounds like it locks the score threshold for each activity, making it so you can increase it to get better rewards
I feel like at least it should have been worded better, but idk if people actually do understand what it does or not

Currently your score for any Event Activity can be knocked down to a lower percentile bracket if the community posts enough scores higher than your own for that Activity. Likewise, if there was a sudden surge of additional players posting much lower personal bests, it is conceivable that your score for a given Activity could be bumped up to a higher percentile bracket (although this seems unrealistic at this point). Once the thresholds are locked any score you have previously posted can no longer be bumped to another percentile bracket based upon the performance of other players. You will however will have the opportunity to continue trying to post new personal best scores that meet higher (locked) thresholds, ensuring you earn the Event Points granted for finishing in higher percentile brackets.
