Is asking for this game to be fun AND rewarding too much?
Despite all the rollbacks made in order to appease the player base after the EoF release, why does it feel like I am still being trolled by the developers of my favorite game?
How am I being trolled? I have three bonus rewards and a bonus focus on my solo and fireteam quick play options that I will never be able to redeem. This is because the system developed by bungie requires a player to achieve a B rank on an activity to be able to receive the listed rewards. I call it trolling because bungie knows you can never achieve a B rank on normal difficulty when your guardian has a light level of 500+.
Quickplays are fun, normal difficulty is fun, what isn't fun is being required to play at the hardest difficulties to be able to advance my character. Stop gatekeeping progression, not every player can solo flawless dungeons, GM's, and conquests. For all you rhetoric of being inclusive you sure do a great job creating and maintaining a "git good" culture.

I have stayed away from matchmade or quick play as much as possible, because solo and crucible are way more consistent. This is an A+ combo from 470 to 550 Solo Ultimate Player stakes pressure cooker. This is barely even a modifier as we have to finish in time anyway. Pick 1 modifier in player challenges. I normally pick an anti-surge mod that won't affect me at all This will be a B or B+. Do all the objectives and finish in time = A+ If the bonus objective is precision kills, consider restarting. Some very easy builds. Just make sure you are making orbs and healing on every kill Titan Solar throwing hammers or consecration Hunter Punch Dodge combination blow Warlock Buddies or Lightning Surge Technically you can avoid all champions except for K1 Logistics when it is Fallen Servitors. If you play in Ultimate long enough you will start to get a feel for the difficulty and after awhile see it is not that much different. Depending on the activity of course, but not in solo portal.
