New lights at 500 power already on one character and getting 30 kills per game.. every game.. no wonder the numbers are dropping off.
Cheating is the biggest problem in PVP..

2 RepliesEdited by ABADDON_WOLFFE: 10/25/2025 4:05:44 PMMy brother in light! The cheaters tagged DMG on Twitter in the video of them cheating. And yes, he is still not banned. Sorry to say but PvP (cheating wise) is cooked!

I won't name them but some major D2 content creators have posted videos of cheaters and tweets of gloating cheaters who are still playing. If Bungie can't cater for their favourite creators complains then there isn't much hope for rest of the community.

They fired their player security team months ago.

3 RepliesEdited by Golden: 10/26/2025 3:21:58 AMThere’s this guy, known cheater who’s been doing tests to see who bans him first, twitch or Bungie. So he apparently streams himself live cheating and even mocked Bungie on X that Twitch is banning him faster than Bungie 💀 Faced him a couple of times in quickplay, it’s pretty funny not going to lie

Ye it's completly unplayable. Trials are even worse. They also ignore every contact form of reported players. I have plenty of recordings of cheating and bug abusing that shouldn't be allowed. But they simply don't care. This game has the by far most ****ed up pvp i've ever expierenced in all time. Just imagine the new game will have the same **** anti cheat software. They will start to care when their cash runs out.

4 RepliesEither tryhards that are clearly playing on MnK in console lobbies which I'm pretty sure is cheating in several games including destiny, actual cheaters, or nonstop spawn killing. I don't care what map or mode I'm in, if I'm getting spawn killed, especially by multiple shooters for like 80% of my deaths within the first 5-8 seconds or the game keeps spawning me in the same place I just died in, either the number of players needs to be reduced, spawn invincibility added, or they need to start banning people for it because getting spawn killed that frequently in any other game would have seen those players banned for griefing and/ or cheating via spawn manipulation. I cannot for the life of me figure out how anyone can find that fun, especially if you have the misfortune of pairing against a group IN A FFA MODE, MEANING EVERYONE IS SUPPOSED TO BE AGAINST EACH OTHER, MEANING THEY ARE CHEATING BY DEFAULT EVEN IF THE GAME DOESN'T STOP THEM FROM GROUPING UP. I know how good I am, and yet I'm dying in ways that I know are simply not possible repeatedly, or the game keeps putting me at so many disadvantages with the spawns that actually cheating would at worst simply level the playing field. You're not going to have fun unless you're a cheater, a tryhard in the wrong game mode, or if you're the one doing all the spawn killing. And if I wanted to be repeatedly spawn killed like that, I'd hop on Halo MCC and go into CE multiplayer where the spawns are literally so bad I've gotten spawn killed by the same guy 7 times in a row before spawning an 8th time in front of him while he's about to pick up overshield (god mode while it's charging) and his teammate had a rocket launcher. Like how the hell am I supposed to fight back or run away from that?! Fix the pvp or remove it, the only people who will miss it no doubt fall into the aforementioned categories.

2 RepliesYet here you are still complaining about a dying game. The irony of you telling me I was crying 😂😂😂 the biggest crier on this forum! Him just a little baby 😢

At this point Bungie should just create a PVP Cheaters event. Ask cheaters to stay out of other content but give them their own events to hold a Cheat-off or Cheat competition. Anything goes, no holds barred anarchy. Give out awards for the best cheater.

1 ReplyThey do ban them but only for a week. It’s not that bungie doesn’t care, they just don’t want to do anything about it because money. Most of the destiny 2 streamers on twitch and youtube are also cheating, so if they did perma ban cheaters, the game would indirectly gain bad pr from lying cheaters who will rally a boycott for disgruntled charlatans who’ve received justice; and also lose free advertisement. If bungie neglects marathon the same way, it will die in 3-4 months after release, and it’s likely that their desperate attempts to retain their player base (the cheaters that remain) will paradoxically result in layoffs and the eventual disbandment of their company headquarters. Don’t expect them to learn from their mistakes when they’ve blinded themselves with greed for 10+ years with destiny. Shame has left the building.

Nah, cheating is the base in Bungie's PvP, the biggest issue in their PvP is that it's just not fun, at all ... there's no fun factor, so no one plays. Cheating at least adds some excitement and laughter ... that's more than I can say for Bungie.

1 ReplyConcur, so with this rumble pvp, it’s so freaking neat that I can just sit there and emote something like sitting in a chair or dancing for 3 to 4 minutes and still get massive loot at the end! Oh no, I got six place! I still got eight pieces of armor and weapons all at level five with some at power levels higher than my highest armor weapon… this is better than the loot cave! Note that you do have to move a little bit every now and then to keep from getting thrown back into orbit… but hey if the other team kills you quick enough, it’s OK 😝 Also getting a few hits on the pumpkin guy then going back to emoting increases drops.
