FOTL Memento
What is the logic behind mementos still dropping when we can’t even use them on new weapons. Idk why you guys remove all the community favorite features.

At some point they'll have to figure something out like allow them to be equipped on tier 5 gear.

With crafted weapons no longer being viable in content requiring new featured gear, this make mementos pointless. At this point mementos should just become shaders. But that won't happen because eververse cannot sell them. Take a look at The Eater of Worlds Ornament Set, one of the rarest and most prestigious ornament sets in Destiny 2. You had to do everything in leviathan, eater of worlds, and spire of stars to attain this set, imo it was one of the best rewards from that raid tier. Players who have these sets went through a lot of trouble getting them done back in the day, and are some of the best raiders imo to have unlocked them. These were some of the best rewards that players can earn.

Mementos were already dumb when they first came out. Imagine clamoring for a single-use Shader that you can't even put on armor. At least the old Shader system, which worked like Mementos do, could be put on armor. We eventually got them to make Shaders infinite use just for them to bring them back in spirit with Mementos like that's some kind of prize. And now with all the gear overhauls, Mementos were made even more useless. Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.
