A little over a week ago I woke up to find all of my accounts had been hacked (all social media, gaming platforms etc) and I set about securing and recovering them. I have managed to, for every single one - however I discovered a little later that this person also got into my Bungie account and has linked their Xbox account to it.
With Bungie's unlinking update from March, I cannot unlink it, even if I were able to deactivate Cross Save (which I also can't do as I don't know this persons details). Xbox/Microsoft have said that this is unfortunately a Bungie issue and they can't do anything, so I seem to be stuck.
I have been online consistently for about 5 days because they keep trying to log into my account (before I realised they had access, they removed all of my friends, changed my name, and cheated in a bunch of activities - so I'm also worried that might look poor for my account) and this way they can't log into the game itself at least, I do however need sleep.
Is there any way Bungie can forcibly unlink this account?
I can verify that this is indeed my account - and if needs be I stream on Twitch (albeit I haven't for a few months due to health issues) and can provide VODs proving that this account is indeed mine.
I have my personal details on my account, which they can see, not to mention them just having access to something that is mine in the first place.

Your only real option for 'securing' your account would be getting Microsoft to apply a ban to the Xbox account so it would be prevented from signing in at all. If Microsoft refuse to ban the account, then the person will maintain access to your Bungie.net account and as a result of cross-save your characters/gear.
