How is prismatic Hunter working?
I’ve been trying to put together the classic prismatic Hunter combination blow with dodge / ascension and that thing feel bad so maybe I’m doing something wrong.
I don’t have spirit of Liar but I have the class item with Inmost light and Syntho.
And I can barely kill a red bar at -30, even with 170 melee and melee surge mod.
And the survivability sucks because health regen requires melee kills. What am I missing here?

Nah I give up. I switched some aspects and took it into a couple of end game activities and it just does not feel good. Combination blow proc inconsistently, damages aren’t great even on red bars with all the modifiers. Freezing touch and Screebs spawning are making that build even harder to rock as it’s an up close melee build. Not bad but I was expecting something more “meta”.

1 ReplyFor me, once an invis boy always an invis boy. Mostly use an exotic class item with renewal-gyrfalcon. Trying to get one with assassin-gyrfalcon but Xur is stingy. Probably not the most efficient pve play style, but I like it.

1 ReplyEdited by Killapete232: 10/14/2025 2:09:02 AMIt's all about heart of inmost light and verity, utilize shield crush on artifact for season, minimum of 120 grenade stat with 80 melee and 80 class should do you fine. Rest into super stat or weapons either or. Liars is still viable to a degree but requires one two punch weapons to make it better, I suggest using bastion exotic to proc saints fury as it's a great pair to liars combination blow build. I have tested a nice liars Caliban build for a stasis shuriken build on prismatic ,its pretty good with prismatic but heart of inmost light is just to good to pass up since ability regen is amazing in looping everything.

1 ReplyMy main prismatic combo+dodge build is with assassin+liar with the stasis aspect so I can gtfo if needed but also freezing a large group of ads and then killing one chain shatters them all. Dragon+liar (dodging reloads weps) may also work (haven't tried) if you're using a 1-2 punch wep that doesn't have auto-reload or grave robber. Keep in mind I haven't accounted for fragments and artifact mods. Haven't touched my hunter much in EoF. What melee surge mod are you referring to? Melee Font?
