I love shaping and I get the process for obtaining patterns, but i ended up hindering myself now because of several things that I unknowingly did as I was playing through the campaigns as a returning player, because there was nothing to tell me not to do it. I dismantled tons of weapons that i could have gotten pattern progress from, because of the tooltip issue. But also, I didnt know that you were only allocated a small amount of Harmonizers per season, ive finished the pass, bought the 3 from the past monuments vendor and happened to grab 1 from Xur. I would of used them on specific weapons and completed the patterns instead of using them randomly on whatever weapons that I happened to get with deepsight availible. So now I have a bunch of 1/5 - 3/5 progressed patterns and I cannot get any more harmonizers unless Xur happened to have one again, and if it doesnt block me saying that ive reached the limit like it did in the monument to seasons past. Why is there a limit on harmonizers, AND why was dismantling weapons to progress patterns removed, and not just nerf'd to need to dismantle more, even 10-15 wouldn't of been as unreasonable as no progress at all. Is there a reason? I have literally almost an entire vault page, probably more between the scattered ones across the pages, if weapons with deepsight resonance availible and i cant do anyrhing with them, for another 2 months when the next season starts? How does that make any sense? Atleast make the harmonizers a weekly question or challenge reward? Can we atleast add something that tells players about any of this so they aren't repeating the same errors that myself and im sure plenty of new and returning players have also made. I really hope someone makes me feel stupid and tells mehat there is a way to get them that im unaware of.
