IS THE ONLY PATH TO VICTORY.
Unless you are on my team. In which case., don’t bother.
And remember to run away from the heavy ammo too👌🏻
Edit. A quick question.. who’s the better player. I’ve had this in the past.
A guy in my team comes first with 25 kills and zero captures. High kd.
I came second 21 kills 9 captures low kd due to solo captures…we win game by 1 point…

Kills win games brother

I be capturing zones like I'm playing domination on cod

For a successful outcome, a team needs a mix of player roles… - Hunter / Slayers - who aggressively take the fight to the enemy - Zone Capture & Hold players - Scouts / sharpshooters - withering fire to keep the enemy’s heads down Quick Tips 1. Find your best role and try your best 2. Rotate with teammates if they move 3. Team shoot anything that moves 4. Help your team whatever’s needed 5. Don’t be a quitter 👈 6. Cheat NOT👈 7. Keep Calm and Carry On 👈👈 That is all. Ease Springs! 🙄👻

We like to try to keep A and C on most maps. B is usually open to everywhere so that is where the party is. I will say that it Helps when you do have a team mate you can talk to.
-
I'd prefer to just capture two zones and defend them... In a situation where you need to recapture zones I'd be really happy with a slayer on my team; makes it easier to cap the zone if the other team are dead!!! What I get annoyed with is the zones cappers just running around in a massive circle and not doing anything else... spawn flippers!!
-
High KD guy is the better player in your scenario. Capturing zones is less important than controlling them, & capturing zones can be detrimental to the team, especially if you're dying more than you kill.
-
Ahh, is that Clash but with zones?
-
People treat Control like Clash, except with points of interest to camp. It's a KDA-padding game mode. They don't care if they win as long as their lifetime KD number goes up by 0.01 per match.

Llleeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooyyyyyy jeeeeeeeeeeeenkiiiiiiinnnsssss!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you need a bit of both types. The assassin keeps the other team from joining forces with their varied repsawn points. and I play like you, get the capture and kill, or sometimes I hold the spawn point for the team if your on certain maps.
-
If you re talking about Hardware... my thoughts are unsharable. People in my teams literally stay on spawn and literally just take rocket after rocket to the face, and will never even attempt to either capture zone or capture heavy ammo....
-
Tbh for quickplay I don't really care at all about winning or losing, but as far as determining who did better I'd look at KD rather than raw kills or caps, someone who got a medium amount of kills but died very little generally will have contributed more net points than someone who got a lot of kills or caps but also fed the enemy team 20-30 points in kills.
-
It's control so naturally everyone is only going after dropped crests.
-
These are the same people that don’t revive you mid nightfall
-
So many times I've come into the game and tried to win, then the team sucks so I stopped taking zones and try to pick off guys coming to recapture the zone I have no intention of taking. , but yes, capturing zone with what won't be that much less of a KD is better.

Expecting Blueberries to play the objective is like expecting people to pass the orb in Corrupted Your expectations are too high -
I play Control to use funky loadouts and fun weapons like Bad JuJu. I care not for zones. In the words of the great man.. they have a cave troll.

What are these "Zones" you speak of? Is it those holographic flags people cuddle around?

The smarter person is the one that doesnt play crucible.

Getting captures is important, but there are other ways to help your team control the zones (eg. defending those captures, defending your teammates getting captures, dominating other key areas on the map, etc). I’ve played Control with players who get lots of captures, but they aren’t paying any attention to whether we’re holding those captures, or if they’re flipping the spawns and creating chaos. I’ve played Zone Control where one team clearly got the higher kds, but they lost the match - because they’re focussed on kd, or playing safe and getting kills in areas that don’t help them control zones. Sometimes one player focussed on capturing and another player focussed on kills works perfectly well together. Maybe both players contributed equally to the win. TLDR: I don’t think it’s as simple as comparing captures and kd.

And also on PC my team mates in Control all ignore Heavy
-
That was always the case. However with ability spam you can hide your weaknesses. In Hardware teams will win who work and shoot together.

I rarely play PvP and was super confused by this during hardware event. In iron banner, everyone would cap zones as Priority 0 and then head out. For some reason it's totally different here. Heavy ammo spawn is so fast I was only alternating between getting heavy ammo and capping zones, and smoke any red I saw, without ever going for the offensive, still ended up near top score each game, something I rarely saw during iron banner. Not sure how anyone can miss something this obvious. Or maybe being a newbie has its advantages,

It’s 6s. We get our loot from how well we do. I’m not gonna help the .4 capping 7 zones a game but defending none of them…
