Credit where credit is due…
I constantly trash Bungie and the stupid decisions they make only because I love and am passionate about Destiny, so when they take a step in the right direction, it’s equally worth noting. The announcement they just made about us not having to restart the power grind in Renegades is AWESOME! They should have never even considered making us lose seasonal power in the first place.
Now they just need to scale back the difficulty for activities in the Portal so that we don’t feel like we’re being tossed into a meat grinder every time we log on, and make our time invested in the game feel rewarding and dare say it, FUN! I might even buy EOF today because of this change. Still thinking about it, because we’ve been burned by these Devs before. But I’m so glad they (at least for the moment), seem to be going in the right direction. Finally! Thank you!

Should it ever have been suggested? Not at all! But as long as they actually stick to it, [i]and[/i] this isn't some BS bait-and-switch where LL will now cap at 1000 so we still have a miserable grind up 500 LLs, then we can at least get off their backs about it. Like, I don't want to give full credit: they get credit for [i]eventually[/i] listening [b]and acting on[/b] to player feedback (in this instance and over the proposed decrease of loot in the Portal; we need to see more of this in general); but they lose some marks on their game dev report card for ever having suggested it. But we do absolutely have to stop biting their heads off over it now (provided this is a legitimate change rather than a lie or a monkey's paw wish), or they'll never bother to do it again.....
