You've absolutely destroyed farming from 450. I used to be able to solo and enjoy fireteam and pinnacle ops and be rewarded for it. Now they're a complete write off. In order to get tier 5 loot I need to add pressure cooker, brawler and no starting ammo OR add modifiers which put me at -80 which is ludicrous! When you add them to pinnacle and fireteam it makes playing both those playlists solo, redundant. This was the only thing that made the portal playable - the option of variety. Now I'm resigned to playing solo ops again, which I don't want to do. I'm not looking to grind for power, I'm looking to grind for weapons and different armour sets, which I can't unless I make it ridiculously difficult for myself. Why aren't mission timers scalable against the number of players? Solo players should be given longer time limits to at least have a chance! I'm not asking for loot to be handed on a plate, I like a challenge, but this isn't it the way to do it. Also, why isn't their a guaranteed path to earn an item from each armour and weapon slot. For example if I'm looking for a helmet there should always be one as a drop somewhere in the portal instead chest piece being the bonus drop for 3 different activities. You have to wait until daily reset and hope there's a helmet somewhere, but there's no guarantee. There should be a guaranteed bonus drop for each of the 8 armour and weapon slots somewhere across the portal to make farming specific items more obtainable and adding variety. I can't try out builds and loadouts because I have to have a meta build on to stay alive and tackle ultimate solo. On the flip side solo ops is ridiculously easy on ultimate to farm but it's so boring and I've got everything I want from it. The difference between the the three PVE playlists is massive once you're at ultimate. You can't even farm decent stuff at a GM level either. You have to find a way to balance this because it's just not fun if you want to grind for gear as a solo player.
