I was discussing the "View Legacy" option for the teams you completed stories and raids with on Destiny 1 with a friend last night as they were showing me theirs, however when i go to look for my own this is not available to me anymore (I distinctly remember it being available on Xbox and looking through it during the launch period of destiny 2)
Before cross-save was an option I moved to PC (As soon as the game released for PC) and had a fresh set of characters as there was no other choice at the time, but had enabled it as soon as it was available (selecting my PC character set as this was what had the most progress), both platform accounts have always been linked to the same bungie account, but this does not seem to have pulled across for whatever reason (im not sure if that is intended or not and have obviously only just noticed)
Is there a way to view my legacy at all?, I would quite like to take some screenshots and look back over these memories.

The legacy option is only available to PS and Xbox accounts. Steam is your active profile for cross-save, Destiny 1 was not on Steam so you do not have the legacy option available. If you had selected Xbox as your active profile, and that was the same Xbox account you used to play Destiny 1 on then the option would be visible for you while you're on PC.
Is there a way to view my legacy at all?,
You would need to deactivate cross-save and then check it on either the Xbox app or Xbox console. Doing so would start a mandatory 90 day cooldown to reactivate cross save during which you'll likely end up with broken /join and /invite commands due to how Destiny 2 handles player look ups.
