Seems that medieval, bows only, and the other advanced loadout locks beyond touches all require featured gear to start but don’t give any more of a score bump considering it’s not just those modifiers but it’s those modifiers combined with touché; seems if it’s even more restrictive it should give a bigger boost not the same boost considering Wishender,Levi,Ergo Sum, Hierarchy of Needs,The Lament etc don’t work for bows only or medieval weapons. I figured it out so I can use those modifiers so if I could please get the extra score credit I deserve I would be happy. I am not even going to complain about playtesting and finding stuff because I have come to a conclusion as to why the “current build” is different in players hands then when it’s in development; Bungie loads their inventory with what’s current then made everything in the new system work with those tools and that’s why our old exotics can’t be worn in Medieval only if they aren’t featured(Gryfalcons+Heartrender combo is sad without Gryfalcons even if I’m holding two current season bows it doesn’t count as a medieval loadout) I see how and why the error is being made, same way that I would bet Dev weapons have scrolling wheels for each column to be able to freely and quickly test weapon perk combos since there are a LOT of interactions was what caused weightgate to happen, if your guns have all the perks it’s hard to figure out some combos aren’t dropping is my head cannon for why that happened. If we are going to have hyper specific requirements that require current seasonal gear+ other loadout restrictions on top of that it should be worth at least an extra 10% or add another up arrow to its score multiplier so for example “if medieval currently awards 5 up arrows it will give 6-7 after combined multiplier is added, like cutthroat counts as two feats at once the more restrictive loudout requirements should also give more multiplier”. If anyone can think of a different fix that’s less work please suggest it. I just used what I had seen was already done and said “monkey see, monkey copy” please😁
