The mobile game that released recently has an aim assist toggle, (Though not a bullet magnetism toggle), adding a toggle for bullet magnetism to be off would create a better baseline for fixing hitregestration and balancing bullet spread/recoil for both input.
There are definately weird decisions with how Bullet Magnetism is balanced, with mnk having 15% more bullet magnetism than controller, which also leads to strange balancing causing mnk to just be easier to use and making input a choice of meta over a choice of preference. Having a baseline of no magnetism for balancing recoil and spread would mean guns would be more usable on controller, closing the artificially extended gap between the inputs. And playing with magnetism disabled closes that gap inherently.
I am NOT talking about just for PVP nor even primarily for PVP, Recoil and bullet spread effects gun feel, and to much recoil and spread effects effectiveness in even PVE enviornments, PVP balancing with mnk bullet magnetism forces strong sniper flinch which effects sniper gun feel in PVE and causes people to not use them much because getting hit knocks the scope way off of the enemy for example, LMG's are dead accurate on mnk but innacurate on Controller due to the differences in magnetism and recoil.
Making the balancing baseline be no magnetism would justify reducing that massive weapon kick LMG's have only on controller.
NOTE, I am not saying COMPLETELY REMOVE BULLET MAGNETISM, I am saying make it an optional feature and balance the game around it being an optional feature. And also to balance it being cross-input sensibly, instead of giving mnk more.
