There’s a rumored Lord of the Rings game in early discussions.
It’s reportedly inspired by Hogwarts Legacy, which I’m assuming means large open world, and apparently it will be third person as well.
If we get a massive open world Middle Earth game where we can choose our race and story, I’ll be so damn happy.
The kind of game that gives you dozens of endings.

4 RepliesThe worst case scenario for a Lord of the Rings game is a big generic open world RPG. Nah, give me a tight-knit linear RPG, preferably one that follows the events of the books. Could be neat to see the Silmarillion put into a game, though I recognize that might be tricky given the book's nature... Or bring back that one game they had. It was, like, Star Wars Battlefront II (the old one), except better because you could play as a wizard. Lord of the Rings Conquest, maybe?
