Bungie, by vaulting the Red War and Forsaken you didn’t just remove content, you erased the onboarding arc, the emotional stakes, and the mechanical variety that made Destiny 2 feel alive.
As it stood pre/Beyond Light. We could play the entire story from start to end and exist in this living world you and your artists had worked nearly half a decade or more to create. The Red War, COO, Warmind, and Forsaken all told deep rich intricate stories and were connective tissue from D1 to the present. With Places like The Menagerie and The Black Armory, events like Escalation Protocol we had more than just loot farms, we had systems that respected player agency while driving the narrative forward.
There are so many activities on the director that if utilized properly could provide a better experience than the Portal does currently and totally lacks that depth Destiny fans have been accustomed to and the DCV, while well-intentioned, has become a graveyard instead of a rotation as promised.
If Destiny is to thrive post-Renegades, it needs to restore its spine—not just its cosmetics.

Idk. I don’t believe they coincidentally vaulted the stuff that uh they are currently getting sued for taking.
