Storm’s Edge is overtuned in PvP. This is how to fix it

The problem with pre nerfed thunder crash was that its damage resist was too high. For a super that can come at you that fast this was an issue. Bungie subsequently nerfed the DR and reduced the “fly-by kill zone” as a bonus. Storm’s Edge is a 100x stronger. You can’t even shut it down because they instantly teleport to you, the spin attack has a wide radius AND you get 3 shots at it. 0 risk Suggestions on how to fix: 1. Reduce the spin attack radius so they have to actually try to be accurate with the initial throw. Rather than aim at the general area of a guardian. 2. Make it chained! Meaning: As the first spin attack is going on they HAVE TO aim where to throw the next or else it automatically goes to where they’re aiming. This way there will be some thought into choosing to solo super or waiting for guardians to be in close proximity to each other. 3. Some sort of radar/HUD indication when we are in range of the super so we can atleast try to do something against it. Maybe something like when spectral blades is close. Or when warlocks are floating with heat rises. These are all I can think of right now. Hopefully some iteration of it will be considered.

    It’s not overtuned, it’s a new super and you are going to see a lot of it because hunters are the largest played class. You can’t break line of sight. Once you throw you can’t adjust, overall up time is very short, yes it’s not the easiest to counter. But tbh I don’t find it any harder to counter than silkstrider or nova warp. I’ve done two resets of crucible so far and I’ve killed several. You can generally dodge them if you just move away from wherever you are soon as you hear it casted. I’ve made people waste all 3 casts trying to chase me.
