I know that bungie is wisdom got rid of the legendary shards in his place and implemented strange coins and you can only use these with Xur only but to get anything from him you definitely a lot of strange coins and the only way to get enough of these coins to make a difference is to grind the game very hard that means doing a lot of crucible gambit nightfall and Vanguard to accumulate enough strange coins to allow you to purchase things from Xur. That's all right if you do a lot of gameplay if you don't play a lot of gameplay it would take you a long time to accumulate enough coins to use them. I think they have to think this whole thing through because it is not fair on those people who can't put enough hours into the game to cumulate enough of the coins to use. That's just my opinion.
