In-game description says that in order to activate "Golden Tricorn" you need to get a kill with the weapon, and then to activate the "Golden Tricorn x2" buff, you need get another kill with a grenade/melee ability matching the weapon's element. However on Prismatic, Golden Tricorn x2 only activates if your equipped super is matching the weapon's element, not the ability you used to get the kill.
