Exotic class item - Excision
Seen a lot of uproar about the duo mission. I personally haven’t played it yet but I do not have any objections to difficulty or having to LFG for activities.
However, there are people that simply don’t want to LFG and I believe the first completion of Excision each week should offer an exotic class item. Eventually this mission will stop being played and it’s such a great piece of content. I feel doing this allows solo players a way to get just one item per week as well as having this mission stay relevant. Thoughts?
UPDATE: I completed the mission and think it’s great. Really fun and I like that there is a 2 man activity, I don’t think it is too hard or that the timer is an issue. However, I do think there should still be an option for solo players to at least get one per week.

1 ReplyI think this is brilliant idea, because there will be slower story players in weeks to come, or new folks that heard about game playing story 1st time, there will be people that hit that campaign step and will launch Excision 12 player mission and what's gonna happen? 1) a 20 minute load searching for other players 2) load into 2 people trying to do 12 man mission because no one is queueing for it anymore you solution could help solve two problems. Hopefully some one at bungie considers this.
