Episodes and what needs to stay next Year

Saw this and I think it’s worth sharing
I’ve been thinking this since season of the splicer. During season of the chosen our fight against caiatls forces culminated in the proving grounds strike where we defeat caiatls chosen champion. I thought why was the Quiria fight also not designed as a strike. It would be really cool to have part of that season immortalized in the strike playlist. Would be cool to see more seasonal finales as strikes so we still have something from a season after they go away at the end of the year
Furthermore
Bungie has wasted many opportunities. High Celebrant in Hunted. Quria in Splicer. Defending Savathun in Lost. Calus Head in Haunted.
———————————————————————— My two cents Seasons/Episodes need more permanent content that stays in the long run. Sure seasonal activities don’t need to stay, but certain story and missions do. In addition to battlegrounds, each season/episode should have a Strike that caps off the end of the story. A. Get more content worth for our money B. We’d have story that provides more context between expansions. C. We’d get a mission that gave a more epic finale to the story, which stayed. ———————————————————————— This should be the goal for episodes going forward. As I have mentioned elsewhere, I think it will be hard to get people excited for the future of destiny, when too much content is vaulted. Who knows if the dreadnaught is going to stay around? I think people would be more reasonably invested in episodes, if they had a couple missions (battleground / Story + Strike) that stayed after the activity was vaulted ———————————————————————— For past seasons on the timeline add the intro and outro mission that highlights the key developments of previous seasons.

As I also noted from Final Shape
At the end of Final Shape, Crow mentions each of the narrative threads which set up the episodes this year. Sure, these are standalone stories – but it will suck when a new player can’t experience them after they hear Crow talk about it …
Also Crows entire character arc is in the seasons, without them there’s no foundation for what we see in TFS Further cementing my point that more content from seasons and episodes need to stay around
