Is TFS actually worth it?

Okay, let me explain my situation. I'm somewhat of a veteran, and I've been playing since technically the beginning of D2, but didn't like it, and dropped it until Beyond Light, and have been playing ever since then. The thing is, I never pre-order the expansions. Never have, never will. I wait until people's opinions come out, and make a decision based off the general consensus. But also, this is more difficult. See, I don't get paid until next Friday technically, and if I buy TFS, it's gonna be with the Annual Pass included. But it's 100$, and even though I wouldn't normally care, it practically be everything outta my wallet at the moment. So I'm stuck deciding whether or not to buy it now. And I'm willing to wait, I just don't want prismatic and weapons from TFS to be nerfed into the ground when I get my hands on them and miss the fun aspect of it entirely. It's a bit of FOMO I guess. So I'd like some advice, and to hear the opinions everyone has.

  • As much as I enjoy this game, at the end of the day it's still only a game. Don't break the bank just to play an expansion that'll still be here once you've got the finances to splurge a bit.
