Error code Marmot - can't get to character selection screen

I purchased the preorder for The Final Shape on Steam, pre-loaded it yesterday and was able to launch during downtime with the message from The Witness blocking me from getting further but no issues. Game launched 5am NZT, I tried getting in at 2.20pm NZT, and I'm getting to the loading screen before Character Selection and then getting the Marmot error code. I've tried the fixes listed on the error code help page, verifying game files/deleting everything but packages folder, and deleting temp data, I'm still getting it.

  • My issue was either resolved with the mitigation/server refresh, or a complete clean install of the game - uninstalled via Steam and then did a search in my PC for any remaining files and deleted those manually. I can't say which fixed it, but I happily spent all night playing the campaign (about to continue!) with absolutely no errors or bugs and I'm having the time of my life, this DLC was worth every cent and I can't wait to see what comes next.
