In the recent weapon tuning preview, one of the changes announced was the complete removal of the "shelved" perk Underdog by globally replacing all existing instances of it with the perk Pulse Monitor instead.
The perk Full-Auto Trigger System (FATS) has been rendered completely redundant since the addition of the Full-Auto accessibility option in the settings menu several seasons ago. If you are able to easily replace all instances of a perk you no longer want to have in the game, then FATS obviously has to be the next candidate for this treatment.
My initial thought would be to replace it with Onslaught as that would fit well with the original idea of FATS making weapons fire faster than they would without it, though I'm open to suggestions on what other perks it could be replaced with, or perhaps an interesting new perk could be developed specifically to replace it with instead which could then also find its way into perk pools of some new weapons going forwards.

Yeah it's pretty lame they fed us the garbage about not wanting to replace perks anymore and then go and replace underdog lmao. Onslaught is probably a bit too hot of a perk given even before the system option, full auto was more of just a laziness perk than anything, but they absolutely should replace full auto with something, anything. Also the RoF boost from full auto was unintended and removed wlike 3 years ago, wasn't it? I don't think that was the idea behind the perk lol.
