Edited by Eatz: 5/17/2024 2:47:58 PMThey’re being very minimalist with the reveals to the new exotics, they did this for lightfall and witch queen. I doubt that’s the only thing it does. For example, parasite was advertised as shooting a high damage worm, but didn’t mention the 20 stacks that or the damage buff on self damage.

I’m thinking they’re going to drop an update that increases the number of shields we see in PvE and/or makes them harder to destroy. It’s very odd for them to introduce such a basic and specific exotic perk without an additional exotic trait to play off of it. -

4 RepliesHopefully the gun keeps the damage ramped up once the shield breaks for damaging the enemy, ie break shield to ramp up damage -> the ramped up damage buff applies now to the actual damage/health on the enemy. The other exotics though have been really hit or miss based on what we've seen.. Khvostov.. ricochet shot every 7 Warlord.. trash suspend Hunter and Titan look decent, looking forward to trying out the Titan one. Hoping the hunter one can also apply arc verbs like blind

Edited by BetweenMyself: 5/16/2024 4:52:18 PMOutside of Y1, most Exotic Perks cannot be fully explained with five words and 20 seconds of gameplay footage. We should assume the weapon will have additional effects, quite likely ones that activate upon breaking Combatant shields. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
